FAQ
Questions
Who are the books for?
Each book lists its own age range on the books page. Our current titles are picture books for young children, read aloud by a grown-up. Older siblings often enjoy reading them to younger ones.
Where can I buy the books?
Our paperbacks are sold on Amazon. Each book's page links to its Amazon listing once the book is out; until then it says Coming soon.
Are the printables really free?
Yes. Print as many copies as you like for your family or your classroom. Please do not sell them or post the PDFs on other websites.
Do I need an account or an email address?
No. Every download is a plain link. If you want to hear about new books, you can leave your email at the bottom of the page; the free things never need it.
What paper size are the printables?
US Letter. They print fine on A4 if you choose 'fit to page' in the print dialog.
Which books have a song?
Books with a song are marked Sing-along song on the books page. The words are printed in the book and on the book's page on this site, with the tune it is sung to.
Who is Mira Selden?
Mira Selden is the pen name our first books are written under.
How were the illustrations made?
With the help of AI image tools. Every picture was chosen, edited and checked by the author, and the copyright page of each book says so.
Can I use the books in my classroom or library?
Yes, please. The story-time guides and printables were made with group reading in mind.
